Two Concerts by The Imperial College School of Medicine Music Society,

March 16 and 20

Friends of Chelsea & Westminster Hospital enjoyed two magical evenings of music on 16th and 20th March when the Imperial College School of Medicine Music Society performed programmes of choral music and orchestral music.

The first concert featured the Music Society’s choir singing Brahms Requiem and close-harmony a cappella works including Lullaby for Lucy; Hallelujah; A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square and Panis Angelicus.

The orchestral concert included Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique and Bruch's Violin Concerto with soloist Mervyn Chong, a third-year medical student.

We are most grateful to this music society who have chosen The Friends as their charity of the year.  The performers are doctors in training who also perform music to a professional standard.
